I successfully booted to ubuntu using Zhmurov steps:

sh:grub> linux /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-14-generic root=/dev/sda1 loop=/ubuntu/disks/root.disk ro
sh:grub> initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.31-14-generic
sh:grub> boot

only changed "root=/dev/sda2" to to "root=/dev/sda1"
Because Ubuntu Wubi installed on C:\ Partition
