My interest in GNU/Linux started since late 2004 because of its technical superiority. Then I was completely convinced that's Gnu/Linux is the way to go for the future when I learned more about its philosophy (Free Software).

For me Gnu/Linux is not just a simple alternative, but it's the future of IT. It has everything to scale up or down as needed. It's not controlled by anyone and it doesn't follow any corporate agenda. Gnu/Linux is for the poor, for those who want to learn computing and can't afford licensing costs, for those who have limited resources whether they are individuals, enterprises or countries. It's something for all humanity. Those who see Gnu/Linux as a mere alternative miss every bit of its potential.
