Hello everyone! I love Ubuntu! I have always loved computers and networking I began to learn about them back in the 80's spending time with Apple II machines, BBS systems and BASIC. I got on the Internet around 1991 on UNIX at the office. My first exposure to Linux was Red Hat then I found Ubuntu around version 5.04 (Hoary Hedgehog) and I figured I had found the perfect O/S. I do consider myself much more of a hardware guy than a software guy but I am trying to learn a little scripting and a little programming

I try to help on the forums when I can and I have intoduced many friends and co-workers to Ubuntu. Even my boss loves Ubuntu! I am a member of the Ubuntu Houston group and I will always try to make a Ubuntu CD or DVD available to any friend who asks.
