MailHog
PPA description
MailHog is an email testing tool for developers:
- the SMTP server starts on port 1025.
- the HTTP server starts on port 8025.
This PPA will:
1. Install the latest MailHog version.
2. Install the latest mhsendmail version.
3. Create and enable a new systemd service called mailhog.
After install, open your browser to access your MailHog instance:
For PHP integration, edit the sendmail_path directive in your php.ini:
sendmail_path = /usr/bin/mhsendmail
The following releases of Ubuntu are supported in this PPA:
* Xenial (16.04)
* Bionic (18.04)
* Focal (20.04)
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:tiagohillebrandt/mailhog to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiagohillebrandt/mailhog
sudo apt update
