Stable series version numbers change

Written for Kazam Screencaster by David Klasinc on 2012-03-01

Kazam was recently included in Ubuntu Universe repository. Because of that version numbering of stable branch had to be changed. If you have Kazam 1.2.x installed you will have to reinstall it. At this point you can also remove stable-series PPA if you are running Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin. For Oneiric, you'll have to stick with the stable PPA.

$ sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kazam-team-stable-series-precise.list
$ sudo apt-get remove --purge kazam
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo alt-get install kazam

You need to do this only if you were using stable-series PPA. If you were using unstable-series PPA, switch to stable-series if you are running Oneiric, for precise, simply remove the unstable-series PPA. Version 1.0.4 is the same as 1.2.1, so nothing should change.

There will be no more version juggling like this. I apologize for the inconvenience.
