The Kernel Team mailing list is open to the public. If anyone is interested in our patches/fixes/misc kernel ramblings, they are more than welcome to sign up. The guy who was going to upstream them is Steve Sakoman. I have no idea if he's done so yet, or where he would attempt to upstream them to, but he's easily contactable via IRC as sakoman if you care to ask. :)
