If the issues you are having did not change when you ran with "acpi_enforce_resources=lax", then that is an indication that this message is unrelated. That's the end point of all this. You have issues that are unrelated to this bug and the error message it squashed. Please continue to follow up in bug 575296 as you have been, but there's nothing more to say in this bug.
